New Home Radon Mitigation: Creating a Safe Space for Family and Future Generations
After moving into their newly built home about a year ago, a couple discovered high radon levels during routine testing—readings hovered around 13 pCi/L. With plans to finish the lower level soon and grandkids frequently visiting, they knew mitigation was a priority. A custom radon system was installed to address the elevated levels before any additional construction began. By taking action early, they not only protected the health of their family but also set a strong foundation for a safe and comfortable future living space. With the peace of mind that their home’s air quality is now under control, they can move forward with finishing their lower level—and enjoy visits from their grandchildren without worry.

Radon Mitigation for Home Sale With High Radon Levels and Results
Ron and Kathy are preparing to sell their parents’ home, which is currently under contract. Radon became a concern after electronic readings on the main level showed levels in the mid-20s, prompting action before closing. A charcoal test kit has been provided to confirm levels, with results pending at the time of installation. Because of the potential for extremely high radon levels, no guarantee will be offered until verified results are received. The goal is to provide the new homeowners with a safer living environment through professional radon mitigation and proper testing.

Radon Mitigation Saves the Day
This client was undecided if they'll still get a radon mitigation system since they were planning to sell the home and move to another state. They did ask for a free quote last year and called us back this year for another. They were unsure if the money is worth the hassle. One time, a home inspector visited and advised them to get one otherwise their home would not be suitable for the modern market, state laws, and for health concerns of the potential new owner. Lo and behold, they asked competitors and they came back to us as they were happy with the 10-year warranty the system came along with!
