Testing revealed radon levels of 22 pCi/L in this duplex, well above the EPA's recommended action level of 4 pCi/L. Because the property has an interior drain tile system connecting both units, the mitigation approach required careful planning, including discussions with the neighboring homeowner. Due to the electrical panel's location in the utility room, only one extraction point can be installed.
