Radon Mitigation System Installed for Daughter with Cancer

For this young couple, creating a healthier home environment carries extra meaning as they navigate life with a 9-year-old daughter who has cancer. Wanting to take proactive steps for their family's well-being, they decided to address the radon levels in their home and see how much they could improve them. The planned radon mitigation system will run up and out through the north side of the house near the air conditioning unit, where electrical access is nearby. The homeowners also plan to address the crawlspace after the initial installation and monitor the radon readings afterward.
